Fotoxcel Photography Studios is run by Karl Jones, a qualified photographer based in Fleetwood, North West England with a wealth of photographic experience gained during his 15 year involvement with the medium. Having started out with 'conventional' film cameras he developed his skills in both colour and black and white photography and printing before making the switch to digital photography in 2003. The use of digital in all his current work has given him the creative freedom to further develop his own distinctive style, enhanced by his use and thorough understanding of the latest, digital post image processing techniques and software.
Specialising in all forms of Lifestyle Portraiture, commercial photography and also fine art print sales Fotoxcel can offer a complete photographic service and as such welcomes both commercial and private commissions.
Equipment
We use the latest professional Canon EOS Digital SLR cameras with a range of professional lenses, including Canon L series lenses for all our work. Our spacious new studio is equipped with professional Bowens flash heads with a full range of light modifiers and reflectors to ensure we can maintain our creative edge. There also an all white 'infinity curve' as well as other permanent and portable backgrounds which enable us to offer a wide range of image styles. All images are post processed by Karl himself on professional imaging software and printed in house to ensure we have total control over the whole imaging process as we believe this guarantees our clients get the top quality images they want.
Photography Style and Content
If you should browse through our galleries you will see we photograph a wide range of subjects, including lifestyle portraits, scenes and action sports and whilst many of the images have an artistic style we are equally comfortable creating conventional product and formal images for use in promotional material and websites etc.
